  • We were joined by six guest speakers from a variety of organisations that provide support to carers.
  • The speakers each spent five to ten minutes talking about what their services offer.
  • The speakers and other professionals in attendance answered several questions from the audience.

Beeston Memory Cafe

  • Every Thursday afternoon Beeston Memory Cafe meets and every month there is a separate session for Carers whilst volunteers continue activities with our guests (i.e. those with Dementia)

  • The meetings for Carers include a sharing of experiences, concerns , news, dissemination of information and occasionally talks to help Carers (e.g. by Fire and Rescue, Police, Tu Vida)
